  • Welcome to The Pink Cottage

    Our nursery opened in November 2009 in a beautiful detached house on Chichester Road, Selsey. We are a well established early years setting, dedicated to providing every child the best start in their early years education and to supporting families every step of the way.

    An insight into our early days

    The Pink Cottage Day Nursery is the culmination of our shared vision and aspiration to establish a unique, quality, early years setting that offers exceptional standards of childcare for children between the ages of three months to five years, within a nurturing, homely environment.
    It was always our ambition to pursue a career in childcare and, since qualifying, we each worked in several children’s day nurseries before establishing our successful childminding setting in Chichester known as The Pink Cottage.
    Our ultimate dream was to open our own day nursery and in the summer of 2008 we found the ideal property in Selsey, which we instantly knew would be the perfect home for our new early years setting, The Pink Cottage Day Nursery.
    Although we have expanded and developed our childcare business, we are dedicated to maintaining the homely ethos that sets us apart from other early years settings.

    • All Ages Welcome

      We are registered to care for up to 38 children per day between the ages of 0-5 years.

    • Free Entitlement

      Places available for eligible children to access the 2, 3 and 4 year funding.

    • Payment Options

      We accept childcare vouchers and tax free childcare.

    • EYFS

      We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage to ensure we offer the best environment to support all children’s learning, development and welfare.

    • School Day Session

      9:00am – 3:00pm
      Includes a morning and afternoon snack
      (extra hours can be added on to this session)

    • Full Day Session

      8:00am – 5:30pm
      Includes breakfast, a morning and afternoon snack and a cooked meal at tea time

    • I couldn’t be happier with the service received at The Pink Cottage. The staff are very welcoming and take the time to get to know each child and their individual needs. The setting is extremely homely and there are a great variety of resources.
